HOW IT WORKS

Your life has a backlog. Start tracking it.

Create lists for everything — games to play, books to read, places to visit, films to watch. Pick a preset or build your own. Rate what you finish, track your progress, and when something moves you — write about it.

A diary. A novel. Or both.

Switch between Journal and Novel mode. In Journal — write daily entries with mood, tags and streaks. Look back on what you wrote exactly a year ago. In Novel — structure your thoughts by chapters, at your own pace. Your story, told your way.

Photos that mean something.

Not a feed for others — a timeline for you. Upload moments, add captions, and let On This Day remind you what happened last year. Everything stays private until you decide otherwise.

It all becomes your story.

Lists, entries and photos are separate entry points that feed into one place. Finish a game — write about it. Take a photo on a trip — it's part of the timeline. Slowly, without noticing, you build a personal chronicle of the things that mattered.

Eddy Dies is a small personal project, not a company. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data. No dark patterns, no fine print.

Who runs this

This site is built and operated by one person, Eduard, based in Moldova. For anything at all — questions, data export, deletion — write to fateddyslim@gmail.com.

What is collected

Account data: your email address, your username, and a password (stored only as a secure hash — it is never visible to anyone, including me).
Content you create: your lists and list items, journal entries, novel chapters, photos and captions, food diary entries, and cooking entries.
Technical basics: our hosting providers process your IP address and browser type as part of normal web serving.

There are no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party trackers on this site. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

Why it is collected

Solely to run your account and show your own data back to you. That's it. Your content is private to your account, except that your username is shown next to comments you leave.

Where it is stored

Supabase — the database, authentication and photo storage. Servers are in the EU (Frankfurt region).
Netlify — hosting for the site itself.
Google Fonts and jsDelivr — your browser loads fonts and scripts from these, which means they receive your IP address as part of the request.

The AI food feature

When you use the photo or text estimate in the Food section, that photo or description is sent to Google's Gemini API to be analysed into calories and macros. Google processes it to return the result. Please don't upload anything there you wouldn't want processed by a third party. Every other part of the site works without any AI.

Cookies and local storage

Your browser's local storage holds your login session and small preferences (such as the last page you were on). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

How long it is kept

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and it goes with it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to delete your account entirely. Email fateddyslim@gmail.com and it will be handled — no forms, no retention tricks.

Children

This site isn't intended for anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.

By creating an account on Eddy Dies you agree to what's below. It's short on purpose.

What this is

A free, personal, non-commercial project run by one person. It is not a company, and there is no support team, no SLA and no uptime guarantee.

Your account

Give a real email address you control, and keep your password to yourself.
One person, one account. Usernames are unique and first-come, first-served.

Your content is yours

Everything you write and upload stays your property. You give permission only to store it and display it back to you, so the site can function. It won't be published, sold or used to train anything.

What you may not do

Upload illegal content, or anything you don't have the right to upload.
Upload content that is hateful, abusive or sexual in nature.
Attack, scrape, overload or attempt to break the site or other people's accounts.

Accounts doing any of the above may be removed without warning.

No warranty — keep your own backups

The site is provided "as is". It's a personal project under active development: bugs happen, features change, and data loss is possible. Anything you'd be devastated to lose should also live somewhere else. No liability is accepted for lost data or for any damage arising from use of the site.

Changes and shutdown

Features may change or be removed, and the site may be shut down at any time. If it shuts down for good, reasonable notice will be given so you can export your data.

Deleting your account

Write to fateddyslim@gmail.com and your account and data will be deleted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova.
